Research

A complementary oxidation reaction at the anode is required for coupling with reduction reactions at the cathode. We are developing catalysts for water oxidation to generate oxygen as shown in the example video.

We are also exploring reactions that convert waste materials into useful products. Through catalyst, process, and device development, we aim to reduce the electrical input for these reactions and develop better routes to valorise waste.
